Emergency call-outs

Emergency call-outs in Pula and Istria

When a fault can’t wait we try to arrange a visit as quickly as we can, depending on which tradesperson in the network is free.

When to call

When does it make sense to call for an emergency?

Typical situations where an emergency call-out makes sense:

  • Burst or leaking pipe
  • A tap or valve that won’t shut off
  • A toilet cistern faulting and overflowing
  • A loose WC pan
  • A broken tap
  • A cracked trap or siphon
  • A blocked drain that is overflowing
  • A loose tile that has become dangerous
  • Urgent silicone sealing due to water ingress
  • Damaged wall or drywall after a burst pipe
  • A socket that overheats or sparks
  • A switch that gets hot
  • Part of the wiring has lost power
  • A fuse that keeps tripping
  • Lighting not working because of a faulty connection
  • A damaged mains lead
  • Visible damage to a socket or switch
  • Burnt plastic smell from a socket or switch
  • Other small urgent repairs
Important note

What we don’t do

For the following jobs we always recommend calling licensed contractors of the appropriate trade:

  • Work on mains supplies or utility meters of the power grid
  • Work on gas installations
  • Large construction projects
  • Jobs that require licensed contractors, separate designs or specialist measurements
Safety notice for electrical faultsIf there is smoke, fire, visible burning, a risk of electric shock, or someone can’t safely switch off the power, cut the main supply immediately — only if it is safe to do so — and call the emergency services. Do not touch damaged conductors or live parts.
How we respond

No guaranteed instant arrival — we arrange the earliest free slot

For an urgent fault, call or send photos over WhatsApp. Depending on who in the network is available we try to arrange the visit as soon as possible. We don’t make empty promises about “today at 3 p.m.” or round-the-clock availability.

In practice, for common faults (water, leaks, a damaged socket) we often come the same or next day, but it depends on the schedule and the type of problem.

Availability and estimate

For availability and an estimate, call us or send photos of the issue over WhatsApp.

Once we’ve seen the situation, we come back with an indicative estimate and the earliest possible slot. Price and billing are agreed individually, before work starts.

A network of tradespeople — we bring in the right trade for the job.

Send photos and a short description

Send a few photos of the issue over WhatsApp. From the photos we can give an indicative estimate before we arrive and confirm the earliest possible slot. To talk or book, give us a call.

2–3 photos + a short description give the most accurate estimate.

Emergency call-outs — frequently asked

A fault that can’t wait for a regular appointment — usually water ingress (a burst pipe, a leak that can’t be stopped, an overflowing cistern), damage that is a hazard (a loose WC pan, a fallen tile) or faults that stop normal use of a bathroom or kitchen.
